Interview with Atobe Keigo
He's soooo debonair! And I'm still wondering if I can kiss him for some information. Hmm.



Jirou: It's five o'clock and it's time for, that's right, Interview with a Band Member with your host, Akutagawa Jirou! Today we have as a special guest, the handsome, the suave, the stylish lead singer from Pulltab to Can... Atobe Keigo!

Atobe: Hello Jirou-san, so glad to be here.

Jirou: Atobe, I'm most honoured to have you on my show! As I've learnt, Pulltab was a band formed by RI.Sing, comprising of talented musicians from different schools. Tell me, how did you take the lead vocals?

Atobe: Thank you for having me here today. That is correct, I suppose I just had something that the othera didn't and the company saw it.

Jirou: I see what you mean, I love your voice!

Atobe: Nn, thank you.

Jirou: But did you go through auditions, win a talent show... or were you simply picked out from a crowd?

Atobe: I was just sort of grabbed one day on my way home from school and told that I had something this company needed and to show up for an appointment. Next thing I know, I am in the band.

Jirou: Wow, that's amazing! Now, unlike Aozu and Cap to Bin where the members all knew each other from middle school, Pulltab has boys pulled from almost every direction. Do you think it would be harder for the band to stay united that way?

Atobe: I can safely tell you that is a dead on assumption. We have no common grounds, only a love for music.

Jirou: Oh... it seems like you aren't getting along well with Kamio Akira, the drummer of Pulltab?

Atobe: I don't mind him really, I just find it amusing that he is so easy to upset. The slightest little things can set him off instantly.

Jirou: He is a redhead after all! Atobe, since you think the only similarity you boys share is music, will that effect the band's goal to reach the top of the hit charts?

Atobe: Our manager seems to believe that he is going to lead us to the number one spot with his, shall we say unique style of leadership. I think we all want to be the best, and that will help us make it to the top.

Jirou: I see! Your manager is Akutsu-san isn't it? Although he generously shot straight out of jail to help you boys, really, what do you think of having a convict as a manager?

Atobe: I am not really to happy about that at all, Jirou-san. You'd think the company could have hired us a preofessional.

Jirou: I fully understand... It must be scary~! I guess he must be really good for RI.Sing to hire him though...

Atobe: Maybe, time will tell. Even so, we are talented enough to make it whether or not our manager is competent.

Jirou: With you as a leader, I'm sure they can, Atobe! Now um... are you aware of the first issue of Monthly Idol, published by Dan-san?

Atobe: *voice drops* Yes. I am fully aware of that issue.

Jirou: I'm sorry, but it's all part of my job, Atobe... but, what exactly happened with Fuji there?

Atobe: Nothing actually happened. I am sure Fuji would have enjoyed it, but I am not anybody's bitch.

Jirou: Surely something, even if not to imaginations of fangirls, must have happened for Fuji to deem you his "pet"?

Atobe: He just declared me his 'kitty' and is rather obsessed with touching me, I suppose that is understandable. All the same, I am not his pet.

Jirou: All right then. A source has informed me, however, that Fuji had attacked you because you mentioned your past with Tezuka Kunimitsu, a drummer of Aozu. Is that true?

Atobe: Attacked me? No, of course not. Although he is rather curious about any relations I may have to Tezuka.

Jirou: Do you? Have any relations I mean.

Atobe: No, not any to speak of. I knew him in the past, but that was quite a while ago. It'd be better to ask him about it.

Jirou: He doesn't seem like the sort who would tell, though!

Atobe: You know the saying, never kiss and tell. He is that type. Tragically, I fall short in that category.

Jirou: 'Kiss and tell'? That's an interesting choice of words. -laughs-

Atobe: I thought it was rather suiting.

Jirou: So you'd tell all for a kiss?

Atobe: I suppose, should the kiss be worth it.

Jirou: You do realise that you'll be further swamped by fangirls after this, Atobe? -laughs-

Atobe: That did manage to escape me up until now. I should buy some chapstick...or mace.

Jirou: Mace might be good! Hmm... Can /I/ kiss you? -someone yells in the background- Oops... I'm not supposed to say that.

Atobe: *laughs heartily* Well, I wouldn't want to get you in trouble with the station.

Jirou: Maybe when I'm off work! I have tons of questions for you! -yells grow louder- Okay, um... moving on... What does your family think of your involvement with Pulltab?

Atobe: I don't see any harm. Hn, my family and I only speak on holidays, so I am not sure they even know I am in Pulltab at this point. As long as I return to the family business after all of this, I'd imagine they are fine with it, as long as I do not embarrass my family.

Jirou: Ooh, I didn't know you had a family business to take over!

Atobe: Yes, my father runs one of the largest international companies in Japan.

Jirou: Wow... Your future's made out for you...

Atobe: Indeed, but the company will change direction once I take over.

Jirou: In a good way, I'm guessing?

Atobe: I plan to create new jobs and opportunities.

Jirou: Such as?

Atobe: That is something I can't give away at this time. Wait and be in awe!

Jirou: I will! Two final questions for you Atobe: are you seeing anyone, and what do you think of your competitors, Aozu and Cap to Bin?

Atobe: At this time, I am single but I don't stay that way long.

Atobe: I have heard some good things about our competitors, and look forward to meeting each challenge they present.

Jirou: Do you have someone in mind, Atobe?

Atobe: I am always looking for someone. I have reason to believe that I will be with someone fairly soon.

Jirou: Would you mind telling us who the lucky person is, or do I have to kiss you? -loud yells arise- Oops.

Atobe: I don't want to give away the surprise. *whispers* I don't make any promises I don't intend to keep.

Jirou: Ohhh, I shan't pry then! Well, we're pretty much done for today, save for one last thing. You now have to pick a message from the fans from this stack here, and I shall read that message for our dear listeners out there!

Atobe: I like the look of that one, a purple envelope stands out a good deal.

Jirou: Purple it is then! Hmmm... 'Atobe-sama, I love the way you sing, I love the way you swing your hips when you sing, I love YOU. But I've always been wondering after reading that magazine... Are you gay?' This fan is... ooh. Kentarou from Hamamatsu! So you have fanboys as well!

Atobe: *laughs* I am oddly flattered. Am I gay...hnn, know what? Kentarou-san, should you ever meet me, you can ask me that in person.

Jirou: Spoken like a true gay diva! -shouts of 'Akutagawa!!' in the background- Um.
